If you have a screen instore that you wish to cast a Focus animation on, please follow the steps below.
Visit cast.focusproducts.com.au
Click the 'Loop' button above to view the animation
The animation will fit your screen, no further action required
Visit cast.focusproducts.com.au on a Chrome browser (or a browser that supports casting tabs)
Click the 'Loop' button above to view the animation
Click the three dots in the browser top right and click "Cast..."
Select the Cast Device you want to cast the tab
Cast will begin
Note that this requires the tab to always be open (it can be left minimised or in the background) and this will use some of the CPU/GPU power of the computer to stream it to the Cast Device. The quality of the "cast" will vary depending on your cast setting and computer power.
Go to the app store on the TV
Download Puffin TV Browser
Open Puffin TV Browser
Type URL into field (cast.focusproducts.com.au/loop)
Cast will begin
We have found Puffin TV Browser to be the most suitable browser to play animations for an extended period of time. We use this in our Head Office reception area and have minimal issues. The Puffin TV Browser does require a subscription but is only approximately $2 per month or $12 per year.
Apple TV users can either use AirPlay to stream a tab from iPad or other device with the browser viewing the animation from cast.focusproducts.com.au or use an Apple TV browser App (check the App Store for one that best fits your setup)
There are numerous other casting options like Miracast or Amazons FireCast. Typically you need a browser opening the animation from cast.focusproducts.com.au and then use their tool/program to cast that tab to the screen.
